Materials
In our current economy, we take materials from the Earth, make products from them, and eventually throw them away as waste. This linear approach is consumption intensive and wastes intrinsic value.
Moving to a more circular economy, lower embodied carbon alternatives are procured, waste is reduced and materials are kept in the value chain through reuse and recycling.

Our Materials Servcies
At WRM we are driving the circular economy through our materials services. We work with organisations to identify opportunities to procure lower carbon alternative products and materials including secondary resources. Our work with the waste management sector has directly supported the creation of over 7.5 million tonnes per annum of waste treatment capacity in the UK. Our work with the waste management and recycling sector has generated millions of tonnes of secondary resources, avoiding landfill and displacing primary materials.
