Manufacturing
Manufacturing Overview
The UK manufacturing sector directly employs more than 2.5 million people and contributes approximately 15% of the UK national emissions. The importance of the sector in delivering the national net zero targets is backed up with the Industrial Decarbonisation Strategy. Policy provides opportunity for the sector with a focus on low carbon investment, efficiency, adoption of low carbon technologies and creating demand for low carbon goods.

A key part of the project was to differentiate and capture the legal compliance requirements that apply to the different product origin and distribution models adopted by the company. WRM delivered the scope of works beyond our expectations.
WRM worked diligently with Econ Engineering to accurately quantify the amount of materials used within the audit period, the amount of waste generated and the solvent contents of both. This resulted in an accurate calculation of the actual solvent emission which enabled Econ Engineering to demonstrate compliance with our permit.
WRM have excellent technical understanding of our process and our requirements. We continue to work with WRM as a partner we can rely on to help our company grow and meet strategic objectives.
